How to install IPTV on Firestick with Downloader
Works on Fire TV Stick 4K, 4K Max, Lite and Fire TV Cube. Takes about 10 minutes.
- Unlock Developer Options
Go to Settings › My Fire TV › About and click your device name 7 times until it says you're a developer.
- Install the Downloader app
Search “Downloader” on the home screen and install the orange app by AFTVnews from the Amazon Appstore.
- Allow unknown apps
Open My Fire TV › Developer Options › Install unknown apps and switch Downloader ON.
- Enter your player code
Open Downloader, type the player code we send you on WhatsApp into the URL box, press Go, then Install.
- Log in with Xtream Codes
Open the player, choose Xtream Codes API, and enter the server URL, username and password from your activation message.

01How do I clear the IPTV app cache to stop buffering?
On Fire TV go to Settings › Applications › Manage Installed Applications, choose your player (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro or XCIPTV) and select Clear cache — not Clear data. On Android TV use Settings › Apps. Restart the device afterwards to free memory.
02Should I change my DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 for IPTV?
Yes. Some internet providers slow down or block streaming traffic through their default DNS. In your device network settings set DNS 1 to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google) and DNS 2 to 1.0.0.1 or 8.8.4.4, then restart the player.
03Is Ethernet or Wi-Fi better for 4K IPTV?
Ethernet is always the most stable choice. If you must use Wi-Fi, connect to the 5 GHz band rather than 2.4 GHz, keep the device close to the router, and aim for at least 25 Mbps for 4K. For Firestick, an Ethernet adapter is an inexpensive upgrade.
04Why do IPTV channels work on Wi-Fi at home but stop on some networks?
Some providers block or throttle IPTV ports during busy hours such as live sports. Changing DNS usually helps; if not, a reputable VPN with a nearby server hides the traffic from your provider and restores normal speed.
05How do I fix Xtream Codes login errors?
Re-type the server URL exactly as sent, including http:// and the port number, and check your username and password for extra spaces. Make sure you are not using more connections than your plan allows. If it still fails, message support for a line refresh.
